Facility Management Master Craft Diploma (FMMC)

The Facility Management Master Craft Diploma Program is a professional training and interactive learning process, which is aimed at equipping practising/professional Facility Managers with up-to-date industry knowledge and technical skills, tools, and templates.

This training is for anyone engaged in, interested in the Facility Management industry or managing a built environment. Individuals who would like to make the transition from any prior field of study and experience into facility management as a career of choice are more than welcome.

Accordingly, the program is structured to cater to those who may require employment or run businesses in facility management. Participants are expected to undergo three (3) months of rigorous training and live classroom presentations, discussions, field inspections, and exams to earn the FM Master Craft Certificate. Those who wish to pursue the FM Master Craft Diploma will be guided through 6 sets of practical workplace FM projects.

There are two options as regards to taking this program:

  • Virtual Training: The training can be taken virtually via the Zoom videoconferencing application, which is held three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 5 p.m.–7 p.m.).

  • Physical Training: The training can also be taken in the Max-Migold Training Center at the HRDC Building, University of Lagos Main Campus, (from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekly). This package is designed for busy executives and others who would prefer to participate in a one-class weekly schedule.
    Fees: Non-Refundable Application Fee – ₦25,000 and Program Fees – ₦950,000 

The program is designed to ensure that participants possess all the requirements to guarantee exceptionally good FM jobs and FM contracts after going through the program (refer to testimonials from the current and previous groups of participants who got fantastic offers while attending the FM Mastercraft Program).

Moreover, this program provides the flexibility to join regardless of your geographical location. Going by our statistics, we have had several participants from different parts of Nigeria, Africa, Europe, and Asia. So far, the program has trained over 250 people.

Finally, a comprehensive exam and a series of 6 real FM projects can be completed in 3 to 6 months following the training. Participants who are out of work or wish to switch to facility management can participate in a 6-month internship program where they learn and develop their projects on the job.

  • Fresh University and Polytechnic Graduates in Engineering, Sciences, Environmental, Social Sciences, Architecture, Building, Business, Survey, Estates, and Education.
  • Graduates from any other discipline with years of experience working in the built environment in any capacity.
  • OND or School Leavers from any discipline with work experience in the built environment as a Receptionist, Foreman, Admin, Clerk, Maintenance Supervisor, etc.

Training Schedule

Training Methodology

  • Facilitator-led classroom presentations with discussions, workshops, practical site visits, inspections, work placement and internship opportunities.
  • Facilitators for the program are experienced certified FM Professionals, Building Services Engineering Consultants and University Academics.

The physical classes will be held live in class at Max-Migold Training Center at HRDC Building, University of Lagos Main Campus, Yaba, Lagos and virtual classes participants can join via zoom video telepresence from anywhere in the world. This experience is just like being in class; you attend classes online- live. You can ask and answer questions and everyone will hear you and see you, the only difference is that you will not be sitting on our chairs.
